Prayer – Entire month of January

  •  Individual: Every morning 6:30 am – 6:45 am; 12 noon – 12:15 pm*; every evening 7:30 pm – 7:45 pm.
  • Congregational: Every Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Emmanuel Temple Church

 

Fasting - Entire month of January: No junk food (chips, candy, sodas and etc.); no concentrated sweets (cakes, pies, ice cream, cookies, etc.)  Use mints to freshen breath.  Nuts for protein are acceptable.  

 
  •   Wednesday:  No food, use of water and juice acceptable; 12:01 am to 4:30 pm)
  •    Friday:  Absolute Fast – No food or drink; sunrise to sunset

Scriptural Readings - And try Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.   Malachi 3:10, NKJV

 

Week 1, January 1-9Psalms 84, 85, & 86; Matthew 6 and Philippians 4

            Meeting: Board of Directors 01/07/2011 after prayer

Week 2, January 10-16 – 2 Chronicles, Proverbs 3, Malachi, & John 21

            Meeting: Pastors and Ministers 01/14/2011 after prayer

Week 3, January 17-23 Psalms 37, 92, & 112; 2 Corinthians, 1 and 2 Peter

            Meeting: All church members 01/21/2011 after prayer

Week 4, January 24- 31 – Deuteronomy 7 & 28; Leviticus 26; James


* ETC will be open at 12 noon Monday through Friday during the month of January for prayer. Anyone willing to join me at the church at 12 noon please come!

* ETC will return to its normal Fast (water and juice only) from all foods for 16 hours (12:01 am to 4:00 pm) every Thursday in February.
